A practical setup walkthrough

Get your setup right.
Then let it run.

Follow this visual guide to prepare LDPlayer 9, set up Rise of Kingdoms, and configure KingdomFlow tasks. Start with the essentials, then check each screenshot as you go.

Before you begin
Download the emulator only from its official website. Do not turn off Windows security or create broad antivirus exclusions to install or run software.

01

Before you start

Give the game, emulator and bot enough room to run together smoothly.

▣

Windows PC

Use a supported 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer with current updates.

▤

Memory & storage

8 GB RAM minimum; 16 GB or more is recommended. Keep several GB free for the emulator and game.

◉

Virtualization

Enable hardware virtualization if required by your emulator and PC configuration.

⌁

Network

Keep a stable connection for license verification, update checks and online game access.

02

Install LDPlayer 9

Use LDPlayer version 9 only for this setup guide. Complete its first-time launch before connecting KingdomFlow.

Download from LDPlayer.net ↗

  1. Open the official link above and download LDPlayer 9 only. Avoid unofficial mirrors or repackaged installers.
  2. Install LDPlayer 9, launch it, and wait for the Android home screen to finish loading.
  3. Open LDPlayer's Settings → Display. Select 1280 × 720 (DPI 240) as shown below, if available, then save settings.
  4. Open Settings → Others, then enable ADB debugging → Enable local connection. Save settings and restart the emulator if requested.
  5. Launch Rise of Kingdoms in the emulator and wait until the game has loaded before returning to KingdomFlow.

Tip: LDPlayer menus may vary slightly by build. Use the labels in your installed version and avoid changing unrelated settings.

Important: Do not enable root permission unless you have a specific, verified reason. This guide does not require root access.
03

Configure Rise of Kingdoms

Set these in-game options before you configure or start your bot tasks.

✓
Disable Opening Animation — turn ON

In the game Settings menu, enable Disable Opening Animation so the opening animation does not play when starting the game.

✓
Use Modern Graphics — select Remastered

Under the game's graphics settings, choose Remastered for Map Style, as highlighted in the screenshot.

✓
Game Language — English

Open the language selector, choose English, then confirm the choice.

Optional helpersRally Notice & Queue ManagementThe screenshot shows both toggles enabled. Enable the options you plan to use.
Optional helperQuick HelpEnable Quick Help if you want in-game notifications when alliance members request help.
Recommended order: apply the animation, graphics and language settings first. Then check the game-specific options you plan to use and return to KingdomFlow.
04

Configure your bot tasks

Choose the right game version, configure each task individually, and review repeat hours before starting.

◈

1. Select game version

Choose the version that matches your game: Global or VN. Do not choose a version that does not match your client.

⚙

2. Open task settings

Each task has a settings/gear icon in front of it. Click that icon to open and configure the options for that task.

♜

3. Configure details

Set march troops, training troops and other task-specific options where provided. Review the selected troops and any related settings.

◷

4. Set repeat hours

Every task has its own repeat-hours setting. Use the suggested repeat hours for each task unless you have a reason to adjust them.

Standalone mode: When using Join Rallies and Barbarians, use these tasks alone. Do not combine them with the Game and Bot Termination task.
05

Quick Rally

Prepare the game's rally notifications, then configure the Quick Rally task in KingdomFlow if it is included in your bot version.

In-game Rally Notice

In Rise of Kingdoms Settings, turn on Rally Notice so a notification appears when a rally you can join is available. Your screenshot shows this toggle enabled.

In KingdomFlow, locate Quick Rally, open its gear/settings icon, and review its available options. Use the suggested repeat hours for this task and test the setup before leaving it running.

Task settingsOwn repeat hours
Quick Rally and the in-game Rally Notice are related but not the same setting: one is an in-game notification toggle, while the other is the bot task configuration.
06

Queue Management

Enable the relevant queue helpers in the game and configure the corresponding task categories in KingdomFlow.

✓
Enable Queue Management Panel in game

Open game Settings and turn on Queue Management Panel. The provided screenshot shows it enabled.

✓
Choose the bot queue categories

In KingdomFlow's Queue Overview, enable the categories you want to manage, such as Unit Training, Unit Healing and Material Production, as shown in the screenshot.

✓
Open each category's settings

Use the settings icon for the applicable task, configure its available options and set its own suggested repeat hours.

Keep unrelated queue categories disabled unless you intend to use them. The exact options displayed depend on the tasks available in your KingdomFlow build.

07

Before the first run

A quick check now can prevent a task from starting on the wrong device or with the wrong settings.

  1. Make sure LDPlayer 9 is open and Rise of Kingdoms has finished loading.
  2. In KingdomFlow, open Devices and select Find Emulators.
  3. Connect to the intended emulator and verify that it is online rather than offline.
  4. Double-check Global/VN selection, task settings, troop selections and each task's repeat hours.
  5. Start with one intended task and observe the first actions and logs. Stop if the game or bot behaves unexpectedly.
Good practice: Validate one emulator and a small task selection first. Expand your setup only after the initial run behaves as expected.
08

Troubleshooting

Start with these checks before changing system or emulator settings.

LDPlayer does not appear in KingdomFlow

Make sure you installed LDPlayer 9, started the emulator fully, and enabled local ADB connection in LDPlayer's Other settings. Return to Devices and select Find Emulators again.

The emulator appears offline or will not connect

Wait for Android and the game to finish loading. Verify ADB debugging is enabled, restart the emulator if needed, then refresh device discovery.

A task does not repeat as expected

Open that task's gear/settings icon and review its own repeat-hours value. Repeat hours are configured per task; changing one task does not necessarily change another.

Join Rallies or Barbarians behaves unexpectedly

Run Join Rallies and Barbarians as standalone tasks. Do not combine them with Game and Bot Termination. Check the selected game version and task options.

KingdomFlow does not start or shows a license/update issue

Confirm Windows is up to date, the application is extracted to a writable folder, and your PC has internet access. Follow the official support channel provided with your KingdomFlow distribution. Do not share a license key in public.

Do not disable Windows security features or install files from an unknown source as a troubleshooting shortcut.
